Sojourn Village PHX
About Us
Sojourn Village is a church planting movement where we create villages
throughout urban inner city communities where people are connected to Christ,
one another and to the outside community through local churches living
life and sacrificing together. Sojourn Village is a mission-driven local church focused on men (not to leave women out) but to understand that there is a spiritual attack on men in urban inner city communities.

Ministries
Men’s Ministry
The men of Sojourn Village gather together for weekly bible study at Starbucks every Thursday. We believe in studying and reading as a community.
Outreach Ministry
We currently volunteer in helping mentor and connect with aged-out foster youth at Adonai Homes in Phoenix, AZ. Each month we regularly hang out with the youth and provide them with food and any other resources they may need.
Family Ministry
We have family gathering every Saturday morning. We believe that every man is prophet, priest, protector, and provider of his household. We encourage families to fellowship as a community and disciple each other. Truly living like the “Book of Acts.” A community that shares our common goods, study the apostles doctrine and fellowship, breaking bread, and prayers.
Missional Project
Hustle PHX has been serving the South Phoenix
community for the last 5 years. Hustle PHX is a
mission to serve people in urban/ inner city
communities with the intellectual, social, and
financial capital to start businesses that glorify
God and serve their neighbor.
Mission and Vision
Mission
Sojourn Village is a community of Christ Followers sojourning together and living
out of the Story of God in Word and Deed.
Sojourners— Don’t have a home... Until Christ comes to redeem all things within the
entire creation!
Vision
Vision—Sojourn Village is a church planting movement where we create villages throughout urban inner city communities where people are connected to Christ, one another and to the outside community through local churches living life and sacrificing together.
The Need
Sojourn Village is focused on Restoring the man back to: God—Men worshipping and loving God, One Another: Family—Restoring men to be priests and leaders in their homes. We want to train men how to lead their wives, significant others, and their children in the story and mission of God. Friends—Bringing men together to have neighboring/relationships with other men to foster transparency and support. Many urban inner city communities are quickly deteriorating because men have abdicated their roles as community activists and role models to outside organizations and the government. Sojourn Village will train and lead men in the Story of God and help them identify why their role as a man in the community is important and figure out how to get themselves and their families involved.

Giving
Church planting in South Phoenix is a leap of faith and a step of obedience for us. Would you take a step of faith with us by committing to support us financially for the first 3 years? It is our prayer that within three years Sojourn Village will be able to support itself through the regular giving of its members. Until that time, donations will be used to support us as a family and support the ministry endeavors for the church.
